July 3rd and 4th Weekend
I did not post on July 3rd, =[[[ so I’m going to do a double post about both days, July 3 and 4.

So, on July 3rd, I woke up at 11ish from a wake-up call from Nimuel. We was goin to Huntington STATE Beach, and we left around 11:45 ish and then we had no activities, so we went to Sporting goods on Vermont and I bought a football and volleyball for 25 BUCKS!! CHEAP HUH!! Then we were on our way, and the parking situation in Huntington was HORRIBLE!!! Just HORRIBLE!! So then we went up to Newport Beach which is literally a minute away from Huntington and we finally arrived there at like 2 pm, took us like 45 min to get there and 1hour+ to find parking. So then we get there and we went to some liquor store and bought some pizza and ate. And then finally we made it to the beach and let me tell you, the weather was beautiful!!! Newport was purtyyyyy, but the water was MUCHO FRIO, VERY COLD!! But me and Nim had balls and he went in first then I followed. Rich chilled back cuz his homies came over. Elaine and Joey came a little bit later and we played some volleyball and some catch with the football and then we “Built” a Gigantic fort/sand castle, muahahahaha. It was epic!! If u go on my facebook you can see the pictures of our epic castle/fort. After that, we went to guppies and ate some delicious food/SHAVED ICE!! NOM NOM NOM!!! However the service was horrible/long so we killed the time by playing Black Jack, hahaha. Me, Nim, and Rich ordered a SMALL and we couldn’t even finish it!! And we are Big Boys too, wat da EFFF!!
Anyways, I got back in mi LA Casa around 11ish and my old homie hits me up saying there’s a kickback at my old classmates house all the way in Northridge!! GPS said it was 28 Miles away, =[[ booooooo!! but oh well, I get there around 12 ish and I say wats up and saw familiar faces, lots of familiar faces actually. I thought I was in a awkward position being there but o well, it was like high school all over again, except that I have grown into a big man physically/mentally so it was no biggy. The peepz were playin beer pong and I was just mingling with some old folks and then I left around 1:45ish and got back at 2ish… Twas a interesting night, I can tell you that. But the beach was awesome and the kickback wasn’t that bad soooooo……..
My overall rating of Friday, July 3rd was Excellent.

I love America did I tell you that??? I love America so much that I rep a license plate holder and a sticker saying the U.S. Air Force because I’m doing that ROTC crap, just thought you should know how patriotic I am =]]]
Anyways, I woke up around 2 ish cuz I was GONEEEE, AKA Tired. I went to Chanos for my usual Chili Cheese Fries and Horchata = Diarrhea, and then I came back to my room/ate/then watched TV/then took a nap and woke up at 6 ish. I then drove back to Burbs to have my July 4 celebration with the fambam and the homies. Literally, our BBQ was BACON-WRAPPED EVERYTHING. Bacon-wrapped SHRIMP, Bacon-wrapped SCALLOPS, Bacon-Wrapped Hotdogs, Bacon-Wrapped Meat, Bacon-Wrapped BACON, GEEZE there was just so much Bacon!!! And after the Bacon festivities we went out to watch the Fireworks from the Starlight Bowl in Burbank. Purty fireworks bring back memories/joy/America/smiles/KABOOM!! Btw, I had my first drink of Alcohol since like 2-3 years ago, and it was a Smirnoff ICE ICE ICE. Haha fa sho, but ya kno, to tell you the truth, I don’t miss it and it was pretty chill. Would I do it again????? If I was with the right crowd like today, then maybe I would, but to tell you the truth, I’m not the drinker. But I will though, you just have to be lucky when you’re around me!! After Fireworks, we played some Family/Homie HOME TEXAS HOLD’EM POKER!! 9 players, $5 buy-in = $45 Original Pot. There was 1 Buy-In after you lost for another $5, and 5 people bought in when they got kicked out, including me!!! BUTTTT I Ended up BECOMING CHIP LEADER AND KICKING EVERYONE’S ASS. SO i WIN!!! And I got $60 !! HURRAYY, which will go to my NOM NOM Money for the week/oil change!! (BTW, everyone was hating on me cuz they didnt think I knew how to play, BUT I DO, and that’s why I WON VATOOOOOSSSSSSSS, Don’t worry, if you know me, I’m very Generous with my money =] so be nice Pwese and Tanx) After poker, everyone was leaving and Nim/Rich/Noel chilled back and was playing Xbox 360 with little boys, AND THEY WERE ACTUALLY TRYING to teach them how to play hahaha, and during that time, I was just trying to do my accounting homework which I finished 3/4 of a question YAY!! Anyways, I didnt bring my glasses so I followed Nim’s car home, (His Lights were my guide) hahaha and now I’m here blogging =].
Today/Tonight had an overall rating of Excellent.

Thoughts of the day/night
These past 2 days have been pretty exciting and I love days where your schedule isn’t pre-determined and left up to whatever happens. That’s why I like it when people make plans out of nowhere because 90% of the time, I am down to roll. Anyways, seeing old classmates/friends/people, it has occurred to me that I have matured into a bigger man, I don’t know if anyone knows it but I think I have. I put must of my issues in the past aside, and ever since college has started, I feel more independent and competent enough to make decisions on my own, like an Adult. And a Adult is what I will soon become, so what’s the point of loggy-gagging and sticking around to our shitty pasts when all it does is slow down our journey for progression and growth? I feel like I’ve grown, GROWN a lot that is. Regardless, of where life takes me and who I bump into in the future (whether old friends/classmates/enemies/girls), I will deal with life as a opportunity for further exploration of myself and keep on growing into a mature/professional Gentleman.
My life is pretty exciting/happy, and I am content with that.
